You are a sinking ship
Off the coast of my perception.
And every word we shared
without a care
only dragged you deeper.
These undeniable movements abound
and force us to bend backwards
quivering with anticipation
We take what we want
But what we want we hate
Because we, too, are undeniable.
So, in a dramatic fashion, we pass the time
And sculpt towering skyscrapers out of gold filigree using atomic bombs
Until we find that in the interval
The damned interval
There exists nothing but undeniable movements.
And we are powerful in our own way.

New Songs
Since getting back from college last weekend, I've been doing a lot of songwriting. I put an earlier piece of poetry (For Science) to music, and I like the way it came out. I began a song on the piano today. I haven't worked out a title for it yet, but I may post a video sometime soon. In addition, I'm hoping to play at an open mic sometime this summer.
