Red Eye

I want to take you where the sun shines in glistening waves
Where light from the sky mixes with the air
in new and enlightening ways

Far from here where the sounds of trains and cars
sound distant like a memory

This place despite judgements past and present
exists in a sense most real
for in my mind I can't help but sense
the glistening shimmering fields
